A Tamil temple wedding invitation, opened like a gateway
Thiru Vaasal means “the sacred doorway”. The invitation opens on a temple gateway at dawn, and as your guests scroll they walk through it — the picture moves in towards the gopuram, your names lift away, and each part of the invitation rises out of the dark of the mandapam as it comes into view.
It is made for a kalyanam held at a temple or a traditional kalyana mandapam: the muhurtham time and venue up front, with directions on a map, followed by the Nichayathartham, Nalangu, reception and any other function you add, in the order you choose. Set it in Tamil and the whole invitation reads in Tamil script — the kalyana pathirikai your family would send, as a link that opens on a phone.
Made for
- Tamil Hindu weddings at a temple or kalyana mandapam
- Families who want the invitation in Tamil script, or in English for friends
- Morning muhurtham ceremonies followed by a reception
